Our Story
I’m Serena, a lifelong dog lover, content creator, and founder of MadPrints. Along with my husband Brett Stadler, we turned our love for our dogs into a brand that celebrates the joy pets bring to our lives through art.
MadPrints began with my passion for creating fun, custom portraits of my dogs, Madi and Remi. Every holiday, I designed a new portrait with themed backgrounds like hearts for Valentine’s Day, party hats for their birthdays, and festive wrapping paper for Christmas. Each one captured their personalities in a playful and creative way.
When I started sharing those portraits online, they went viral. Soon, I was getting messages from thousands of pet parents who wanted portraits just like them. That’s when I realized MadPrints could be something more than a personal project — a way for pet lovers everywhere to celebrate their animals in a fun and inspired way.
How MadPrints Got Its Name
The name MadPrints was inspired by Madi, my tiny and sassy Chihuahua who started it all. She was my first inspiration behind every portrait I created, and the “Mad” in MadPrints is a nod to her name and larger-than-life personality.
From the very beginning, Madi’s portraits captured the hearts of millions online and sparked the idea to turn this creative passion into something bigger. Every print we make reflects what started it all: a love for creativity, personality, and the special bond we share with our pets.
