Digital File Usage
Your MadPrints digital portrait gives you the freedom to print your artwork anywhere you like while keeping the quality sharp and clear. Follow these guidelines for the best results.
File format
Your digital portrait is delivered as a high resolution PDF and JPG. This format is compatible with all major print shops and online printing services.
Where to print
You can print your portrait at local print shops, office supply stores, photo labs, or online companies. Common places include Walgreens, CVS, Costco, Staples, and any professional print shop in your area.
Recommended sizes
Your file can be printed in a variety of standard sizes such as 8x10 inches, 12x16 inches, 16x inches, or 18 by 24 inches. For best quality, do not enlarge the file beyond the recommended size provided in your email.
Paper choice
Choose a high quality photo paper or matte art paper for the best color and finish.
Glossy paper will create a shiny look while matte paper offers a softer art print feel.
Color accuracy
Colors may appear slightly different on screen compared to the final print due to individual monitor settings and printer variations. This is normal for all printed artwork.
Framing
Allow the print to fully dry before framing. Always frame behind glass or acrylic to protect it from dust, fingerprints, and humidity.
Personal use
Your digital file is for personal use only. It may not be sold, shared, or used for commercial purposes without written permission from MadPrints.
